The Prisons Memory Archive holds 175 filmed interviews of people who were connected to the Maze and Long Kesh Prisons and Armagh Gaol during the Troubles in Northern Ireland.

Participants, who were recorded onsite, include prison staff, prisoners, chaplains, probation officers, visitors and teachers. The PMA is currently in post-production designing software for an interactive digital archive that will allow access to multi-narratives of our contested past. This website contains extracts from the archive and other useful information.
